My names Cory and I live in DC. I work for the Department of Defense and live on my own. I have a son whom I love a lot and wouldn't want anything other than what's best for him. I'm here to find someone who's serious and takes nothing for granted. I have many goals and things I'd like to do. Getting my chemical engineering degree and making a career out of that would be lovely. Or perhaps a degree in computer science would be great to have under my belt; designing and updating software programs are very fun and interesting. Computers are a demand and there's plenty of opportunities for people interested, like myself. Staying focused is key.. What makes me unique? I just believe that you're only as successful as you want to be. I'm not one who likes to give in to pressure or quit when things don't go my way. My life lessons were implemented for the wisdom of not repeating past mistakes. I'm a hard worker and enjoy putting smiles on faces. When I'm not working, I'm usually trying to find new things to learn to cook. I guess you can say I'm a tidy person. I read books occasionally. (Preferably mysteries.) I love sports and playing cards. I enjoy traveling and sight seeing. Always looking to learn new things. My musical preference varies. I'll listen to whatever makes sense; classic or recent. I will say that music has seemed to change nowadays and not always for the better; which is why most of my preferences remain in classic genres. Well, it appears I've said plenty thus far.
