My name is Eric (Bai Jia Chi is my legal name in Chinese). First, don't ask me to go to gagamatch or gogohope or boycgirl, etc. They're all scams. I'm well aware of this. talk to me here or nowhere. I'm not here for games. Now, on to my profile: I am a happy person, who loves to laugh. I am well-educated, a college graduate, and teach English to Chinese speakers when I work overseas. I was also Editor-in-Chief of a newspaper for 13 years, so my English speaking and writing skills are excellent. I have written hundreds of published articles and have a few novels and about 200 short stories I would love to translate into Chinese and publish in China and Taiwan. I truly enjoyed teaching English to Chinese speakers and look forward to doing so again. Either that or I would enjoy opening a Gym or an Antiques shop in Mainland China or Taiwan. I love to exercise and have done so all of my adult life. I work out with weights and run outdoors 5-6 times per week. I promise I will stay in great physical shape for my wife and family so they will be proud of me when we are out in public together. I also am passionate about gardening, nature, and live in a forested area next to a lake and a State Park, where wildlife is abundant. The city I live in is a small town called Norris and is right next to Norris Dam State Park, many rivers, the Great Smoky Mountains, caves, and a huge lake. I see animals every day, including deer, raccoons, rabbits, skunks, possums, etc. There are also bears and coyotes, but they seldom come around people. I love to read and watch movies (I love movies from China!!! Some of my favorite directors are Zhang Yimou, Ang Li, John Woo, and Stephen Chow, among many others) and have an embarrassingly large collection of films and books (haha, including old comic books). I love novels and non-fiction, and enjoy manga and comics as well. My dream is to have a home in China and the States and to travel frequently back and forth between the two. I want to give our children the best education and the greatest opportunities possible and hope they will be fluent in both English and Chinese and have a deep understanding of both cultures. My favorite food is very spicy Chinese, Taiwanese, and Thai.I very much prefer Asian cuisine to American cuisine. Most American food is very very unhealthy, although I must admit that I do love pizza (although the best pizza I ever had wasn't in America - it was in Taiwan!). I very much want to become fluent in Chinese, to speak like a native, and be able to read the huge volumes of Buddhist writings in native Chinese. I want to be an honored and valuable member of my community in China, to be thought of as a neighbor instead of a foreigner. I also do not want to take my wife from her family, rather, I wish to become a part of her family, to be a good son to her mother and father and a good brother to her brother and sisters, if she has any. A few years ago, I gave up my newspaper business and sold my home in order to live a more carefree life. When I am in the States I share a big home with my father, which I hope to remodel and make even larger sometime this year or the next. It is the house I grew up in and it's located in a very safe and beautiful place, a wonderful place for children to play and explore. I hope our children will one day inherit the home and their children too. I am a peaceful man, very calm, very curious, and full of laughter and smiles. I abhor anger and will never ever speak poorly of you or disrespect you to anyone. As long as you are with me, you will be safe, protected, and passionately loved.
