39 Greenwich, London (Greater), United Kingdom
Seeking: Female 18 - 36
Home type:
I am a hard working, ambitious soul who is looking for love. I like to be muscular, but I enjoy running. So I will always be very healthy but never too strong. I believe that a 'man' should be strong and healthy, so his wife and family can have confidence in him. The man of the family should be strong, hero, but also soft and kind. I am educated, though I chose to work in a career of design since the age of 20 instead of completing university. Now, I am considering studying for an MBA while I run my own marketing consultancy. I have worked in London for over 10 years and have learnt many things about people, myself and culture. I live and work in London but my family home is in Bournemouth, a small town in very beautiful place of England. Bournemouth is home to a lovely beach and rural countryside where cows graze and pretty sun sets. I love to run in the country, to feel the fresh air rushing past me and to swim in the sea. I think that the best things in life are free; nature, sunshine, swimming in the sea, family and love. Haha, but also, some of the nicest things in life are not free -like Gucci! ^w^ My heart has always loved Japan since I was a child. As I grew up I discovered the long history of China, Hong Kong and Korea. I feel that Asia is really my home, but I also very much love London. I am looking for a girl who wishes to share my passionate heart. I respect the history and culture of Asia, traditional and contemporary. I believe that one should learn from our elders, but not to follow their footsteps blindly; Matsuo Basho said it best: "Do not seek to follow in the footsteps of the men of old; seek what they sought." Chinese and Japanese philosophy is very different from western teachings, here are a few of my favourites (please accept my apologies, for I am sorry that I could not find the Chinese for them): Chapter 61, Dao De Jing “He who asks a question is a fool for five minutes; he who does not ask a question remains a fool forever” “He who rides a tiger is afraid to dismount.” (Ch'i 'hu nan hsia pei) Thank you for reading about me, I sincerely hope that you will see that I am unique and will be flattered to hear from you. I will return any mail I receive, thank you Gary
