I am very romantic, enjoy walks in the park and malls, in addition to watching movies at home or in the theaters. I also like candlelight dinners and I'm a very affectionate person as well. People have a tendency to refer to me as a "Big Teddy Bear". Other than what was previously mentioned, I tend to like most kinds of food (Chinese, Japanese, Mexican, Thai, Cajun, American, Fast Food/Pizza, Vietnamese, and Italian which I love all kinds of that food! However, Chinese food is my favorite esp. fried jiao tzu-Chinese stuffed dumplings!), and I've an Associate Bachelor’s degree in Food Service Management and Technology and I'm now a published Christian poet who came out with my first book of poetry on May 20, 2016 titled "Reflections: Images From The Mind Of A Mentally Challenged Poet 50 Of My Best Poems From 6th Grade To Today" which is available through links to my publisher, Lulu Publishing Company, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Books-A-Million via my website which is www.booksbybrettdmiller.com, which was created by an online website development company called Mopro who did an excellent job in the designing of the website and where you'll see an old introductory video to the website which I'm going to be changing pretty soon, an excellent bio about me as well as two poems from the book along with other web pages on the website. The paperback book sells for $7.99 and the e-book sells for $3.99 however, Books-A-Million only sells the paperback copy while all the other stores sell both the paper back in the e-book. However, although you can go into Barnes & Noble and Books-A-Million and order the book there, they'll just only send it to your home for they do not have it in their stores, but you can go on their websites and order the books online as you should do with the other stores as well. All of my friends and family as well as everyone else who's bought the book so far say it's an excellent read for I've got a God-given gift in using poetic artistic imagery to paint colorful pictures in people's minds just like an artist uses paint and paintbrushes to paint a beautiful picture on a canvas. There’s also a quote from my friend and former classmate, actress and director Courteney Cox, who I graduated with from Mountain Brook High School in 1982, that I got through her with the help of Jordan Davidovitz, who’s the assistant to Courteney's producer, who forwarded to her a draft of my book, which she read and, after doing so, she had Jordan send to me a very nice complementary quote from her own mouth which I used on the back cover of my book where you'll also see an early photo of me in my poet's outfit as well. So, go to my website, click on one of the links to one of the stores that sell the book and/or the e-book, and buy yourself a copy or a couple of copies today for they make great gifts for your loved ones especially for special occasions like Easter time which is coming up soon as you know. Additionally, starting on March 26th, I'll be attending online classes through Full Sail University to go for my first bachelor's degree in Internet marketing upon which, after graduating with my bachelor' s degree in that field, I’ll also go through Full Sail in order to get my Master's degree in the same field. Then, after graduation, I'll enlist the help of Full Sail University's Career Development Center, which is there Job Placement Department, to help me find, apply for, and obtain an excellent paying job with, hopefully, a major Internet marketing firm which will give me my assignments with major companies and customers to do online over the Internet whereupon I'll apply to have my paycheck direct deposited into my checking account, most likely making more money than most people would make in a year! I would, also, like for you to know that I am a very SENSITIVE guy which I find to be both a plus and a minus for me. For instance, it’s a plus in the fact that I'm a good listener who'll always do my best to listen to you about anything you want to tell me such as any problems that you want to discuss with me while I will just listen and not try to offer any solutions to your problems unless you want me to do so as well as I'll, when you come home after having a bad day at work, have a candlelight dinner made ahead of time and will just offer a listening ear to all of your problems that went on that day and not try to solve them unless you request me to. Also, the positive side of me being a good listener is that I can hear from God a lot, but it's a minus in the fact that I can sometimes get my feelings hurt somewhat very easily. However, I am also very intelligent. Feel free to pick my brain sometime! So, in short, I think that this pretty much sums my personality up!

My 27 year marriage ended at the hand of God. I am proud to say, we upheld our commitments and would do it again! I have learned a lot about myself in the last year - I thought that I needed to be in a super hurry; it has taken me a long time to understand that I have all the time in my life left. So this year has brought about new goals and challenges. Early on this year, I decided to replace some current pastimes with some old ones from the past. I have picked up the pace on working and focused the exercises to support running. This year, I purchased a new (well practically new – 09) Road King and have already upgraded to a 2011 Road Glide Ultra. I put a little over 11,000 miles on my bikes in 2010. I independently manage life, home, career, and future. I clean my own home, do my own laundry, care for my own lawn and all are well maintained. Actually, I enjoy the yard work and wish that I could say the same about the house work – don’t get me wrong both are well maintained. I was only blessed with one child - stopping at one was the biggest mistake of my life. My daughter, a trophy child, is now a 25 year old grown woman and away earning her 2nd Law Degree. My weekdays are very full. I am up early for a quick cardio exercise and then off to the office early so that I can escape early. I work to live – or better stated to buy toys. I hurry home for a quick snack, and then off to: the gym, the track, the motorcycle, or to work in the yard. I work hard during the week to get it all done to assure my weekends are open and fun filled. The activities which I consider fun are: College Football, the gym, weekend breakfasts (sit down, or my preference, bringing it to you in bed), jogging, woodworking, leaded glass, a great quite restaurant with a good looking women in heels and a head turning dress, the club house, road trips, coffee at Barns and Noble, walking or jogging through the hood visiting neighbors, Church 3 to 4 Sundays a month (more during high holy days), a great bottle of wine, dinner at someone’s home, making dinner with someone, out with a group, in with a group, a GREAT movie at the theater or on DVD, casinos on a infrequent basis, or a quiet evening under the covers. The mall is not on my A list. I
